Some of you may be aware that within Chicago there is a group of people looking to open up a collectively run do-it-yourself venue in Chicago.Unlike the traditional motions of a venue or an individual setting up a show, our members work with the music scene, booking shows all over Chicago. Our top priority is feeding, paying, and providing housing for all bands.

If you are at all interested in helping out, please join us at one of our next meetings, new members are always welcome!

DIY CHI's first stand-alone art show. 10 local artists will be on display with a stunning variety of work. Paintings, sculptures, walk-through installations and more will be present. A poetry reading will take place at some point during the night, so Chicago's subversive literary talent will also be well-represented. Several artists will be on hand if you are interested in meeting them or purchasing their work.

This event will be DJed and is FREE TO ALL, but bring a little cash if you're hungry because there will be a bake sale.

Walk to 18th and Racine (about 10-15 min.)
